Amazing amounts of growth have taken place at Mary's Flowers. Perhaps because Spring is just around the corner and new life is taking place. Winter seems to be making way to all that bursts forth in springtime. For instance, one can still learn valuable lessons on running a flower business, even after years of experience. Let me pinpoint some lessons. 1) When you are ready to give up some ego, you can train younger people who have better joints than yourself to do some heavy lifting and leg running. 2) There is as much joy, if not more in seeing others burst forth and flourish.3) Hope is restored and the creative juices flow even more so.......making sense to any florists out there?
